We built our house according to the highest green standards using benign materials and locally-sourced products wherever possible. It is designed to utilise passive-solar energy and a ground-sourced heat pump, thermal solar panels and two wood-burning stoves provide heating and hot water. We produce electricity from PV panels and the rest is provided exclusively from renewable energy sources from the Good Energy Company.

As well as being vegetarian, we try to provide healthy, ethical food. We supply our own fruit and home-made products and buy locally-grown, organic and fair trade goods if available. We cater for any dietary requirements if you notify us when booking.
